About AKAN

At AKAN, every talent carries meaning. Each home in our collection tells a story… Come write yours! At AKAN, we believe that hospitality is, above all, a human adventure. We honor genuine care for others, pride in doing what’s right, a spirit of shared knowledge, and respect for the identity of every place and every person. We foster a culture where everyone can express themselves, grow, and contribute to a shared vision—blending contemporary excellence with deep cultural roots. AKAN is a community. We welcome talents who want to make a difference—those who believe in the beauty of detail and in the richness of stories worth passing on. WHO ARE WE? Founded by the Dar Taarji family holding company, AKAN is a Moroccan collection of character-driven boutique hotels—deeply rooted in heritage yet guided by a contemporary vision of hospitality. Each home is selected for the strength of its identity, the depth of its cultural roots, and the precision of its elegance. Inspired by an Amazigh word symbolizing body and structure, AKAN weaves a living narrative through memory, architecture, and hospitality. With each property, AKAN celebrates an intimate, humble, and embodied art of welcoming. AKAN, A MOROCCAN COLLECTION The AKAN collection redefines luxury hospitality in Morocco with a fresh approach rooted in emotion, exceptional places, and operational excellence. Each home retains its soul, supported by a sustainable strategy and tailor-made guidance.
