Founded in 2009, AKS has established a reputation as a trusted and highly competent partner in international development, managing projects across Afghanistan. We have a network of more than 500 national and international consultants with both exemplary technical expertise and a deep understanding of our country. By supporting donor and commercial projects AKS nurtures talent by transferring the skills and knowledge of its young Afghan team to fellow Afghans. AKS aims to improve the lives of Afghans by working with governments, NGOs and some of the world’s leading development consultancies to provide sustainable livelihoods, human security and good governance for the people of Afghanistan. We provide our partners with the local knowledge, technical assistance and operational support they need to deal effectively with the challenges our country faces. AKS provides a complete package of services for development projects in Afghanistan, spanning everything from project management to procurement and construction, and from training to monitoring and evaluation. AKS brings both national and international expertise in governance, public financial management, economic development and investment support.
