About Albanian Canadian Development Alternative

Albanian Canadian Development Alternative is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established to increase the cooperation between Albania and Canada through supporting the development of a democratic society and sustainable cities and societies. ACDA was established by the close collaboration of a group of experienced and visionary analysts and strategic partners, ADE and Albanon Magazine. As an organization focused on youth, education, and partnership building, ACDA is closely supported by many stakeholders, such as IRI and the Young Professionals Network, who are strategic partners. ACDA's goal as a disciplined organization is to take concrete steps in research and analysis on education issues in Albania. The vision of the Albanian-Canadian Development Alternative is to become one of the most effective programs of Albanian NGOs to simultaneously address the indicators of development, quality of education, and sustainability through international partnerships, intellectual resources, internal and external experts, community work, and policy advocacy. ACDA is a strategic partner of Albania and Canada for building long-term relationships and promoting policies for the safe development of cultural diplomacy, education, and youth. The mission statement of the organization's mission is to rebuild a strong and lasting partnership between Albania and Canada. Our goal is to find ways to facilitate alternatives to education that will contribute to the development of the knowledge and skills needed to improve the lives of young people and the communities in which they live.
