About Albion Hotel Freshwater

Set against the dramatic backdrop of Freshwater Bay, The Albion is a four-star coastal hotel offering understated luxury on the edge of the Isle of Wight. Recently reimagined, the hotel pairs raw natural beauty with refined comfort, where tidal rhythms meet calm interiors and every detail is designed to feel both effortless and exceptional. With a heritage stretching back over 300 years, The Albion has long been a place of rest and retreat. That legacy lives on through a quiet dedication to genuine hospitality, warm, attentive, and deeply personal. At the heart of the hotel is The Rock, our 100-seat restaurant with spectacular sea views. Airy and relaxed, its full-length windows open out to a sun-drenched terrace just steps from the shore. The menu is as inviting as the setting, thoughtful, seasonal and full of flavour. It’s a place to unwind, indulge and take in one of the most beautiful views the island has to offer. Whether you're planning a peaceful escape, a special celebration or simply a long lunch by the sea, we’d love to welcome you to The Albion.
