Similarly, Alithea has highly sensitive neoantigen detection pipeline, NeoZoom, that can be used to optimize cancer vaccine development. HLA-Compass, Alithea's SaaS platform is the largest quantitative database of HLA peptide presentation in healthy and tumor tissues. Besides target discovery and validation, it offers a suite of tools for off-target/safety evaluations. HLA peptides are finally also important to understand potential immunogenicity risk of biotherapeutics. Profiling HLA class II presented peptides from therapeutic proteins allows to determine sequences that feature a risk to lead to immunogenicity in patients and thereby lower efficacy.
