About Allen Animal Hospital

Allen Animal Hospital is a well-established small animal practice located in Livonia, Michigan; a suburb of Metro Detroit. Easily accessible off the highway, our location offers the best of both worlds: the charm of a close-knit community with the culture, dining, and entertainment of Detroit only miles away. Founded by Dr. Vilas Allen in 1966, we’ve delivered compassionate, high-quality veterinary care built on a foundation of education, trust, and relationships for close to six decades. Our experienced and friendly team is proud to serve our community with a strong emphasis on collaboration, communication, and a positive work environment.
