The company specializes in sensory analysis instrumentation and is the worldwide leader of smell, taste and visual industrial analyzers: so-called electronic nose, electronic tongue and electronic eye. It has more than 1000 instruments installed worldwide for Food, Beverage and Packaging industries. First company to market electronic noses, Alpha MOS has always made strong investments in R&D to develop innovative products that would meet the needs not fulfilled that far. Several developments about systems and methods for measuring odors and liquids, for quantifying odor intensity or for processing data are patented. Headquartered in France, Alpha MOS has offices in USA and China, and a network of more than 30 distributors worldwide. Alpha MOS is publicly traded on Paris stock exchange. Alpha MOS also owns BOYDSense, a company based in the USA that develops miniature devices for consumer applications in the health and wellness markets.
