About Altrufood

An estimated 30% of the food produced for human consumption globally is lost or wasted somewhere along the food supply chain. A lot of this wastage can be attributed to out of date software that doesn’t communicate to other food systems or adapt to the complex world of food trade and logistics. Altrufood was built to offer affordable software solutions to the food industry, solving problems, from availability of chilled storage space, to unused truck capacity.

Founded in 2020 by Chris Scarlett and Jacob Cooper.
