About Amanda Hamilton Interior Design

Amanda Hamilton Interior Design has earned an extensive and intentionally diverse portfolio spanning residential, hospitality, commercial and retail markets across Canada. AHID operates on an adaptive boutique model with big-agency ambition. The studio rejects formulaic design and a signature aesthetic, favouring an approach grounded in emotional intelligence, academic methodology, and genuine collaboration. Rather than finding a niche, AHID designs for people — not archetypes — immersing deeply in each client’s world to extract a vision that’s both highly customized and conceptually rich. The studio thrives on juxtaposition — artfully blending eras, styles, and materials to solve complex design problems. From highly curated private residences to inventive hospitality venues, accessible inner-city housing, and retail concepts for first-time entrepreneurs, the portfolio reflects the belief in balancing practicality with poetry – for everyone. At the heart of every AHID project lies a narrative shaped by thoughtful materiality, soulful expression, and layered storytelling. These are spaces crafted not just to be seen but to be felt. It’s storytelling at its finest – resulting in interiors that are honest, immersive and utterly original. Through collaborative zeal and bold execution, the AHID team has built a reputation defined not by repetition but by reinvention. At AHID, the future of design isn’t defined by aesthetics alone — it’s about resonance, impact, and cultural relevance. It’s not just a tagline – it’s the truth: AHID is the studio that does cool projects with stylish people (that's you!)
