About AmazonArt Foundation
AmazonArt Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in London in 2009 by Maestro Diego Carneiro de Oliveira, with the aim of creating and supporting artistic, educational and social projects in diverse cultures, nations and social strata, through a network of international artists, achieving social inclusion and promoting artistic potential through music as the main axis in various countries, holding festivals, educational concerts and conferences in several languages. It was established in Ecuador on October 26, 2018, through Ministerial Agreement No. DM-2018-195. Its legal status was granted by the Ministry of Culture and Heritage in Official Registry No. 408 of January 17, 2019. The executing arm is the Ecuadorian Youth Orchestra, with the mission of democratizing music through performance and musical education in an innovative and unique way in the country, with a message of integration between cultures, promoting in young people a sense of personal and professional responsibility with social issues such as cultural exchange in favor of reducing xenophobia and showing the positive aspects of migration so that migrant and refugee musicians, mostly Venezuelans, can reintegrate into society.
