In 1921, a small bearing company was established in Los Angeles to manufacture specialty bearings for early Indy Cars. From the seed planted that day grew the world’s leading developer in bearing propulsion systems. Throughout the 20th century, we’ve pioneered advancements in journal bearing design and the list of Navy ships and submarines equipped with bearings engineered and manufactured by AMB reads like the history of the US Navy fleet.
