About Ananas Mall

Since Ananas Mall opened its doors in April 2015, it has established itself as a shopper’s paradise, setting new standards for shopping with style, convenience, safety and variety for the whole family, all under one roof. Being Thika’s first mall, it has also become synonymous with being the leader in innovative new concepts and experiences for the neighbouring community. The mall stands to deliver the world at Thika’s doorstep – to be a haven of happy and exciting memorable moments for the family and to drive prosperity in the community. With over 40 thousand visitors weekly, the mall prides itself as the only one-stop-shop for the whole family around Thika, with over 50 stores to suit everyone’s needs, over 350 secure parking spaces, several restaurants, bars, and countless children’s activities happening weekly. From clothing, shoes, medicines, dry cleaning, opticians, doctors and a Naivas Supermarket for your daily household needs. The word “ananas” which means pineapple in Swahili is representative of the pineapple fields that once sued to sprawl the land on which the mall now stands on. Did you know, pineapple is known as ananas or variations in all languages except English?
