Anchor Resource Management and Trading Ltd (ANCHOR) is an impact-driven business development and trading firm supporting the growth of missing-middle enterprises across Ghana and West Africa. We work with growth-oriented businesses across agribusiness, green and climate projects, light manufacturing, health, education, and allied sectors, helping them overcome financing, market, and capacity constraints that limit scale and sustainability. ANCHOR bridges the gap between enterprises and opportunity by strengthening investment readiness, facilitating access to finance, unlocking markets, and building practical capacity. Our services span business development and strategic advisory, access to finance and transaction support, agribusiness and value chain development, capacity building and ecosystem strengthening, and trading and market linkages. While structured as a private limited company, ANCHOR operates with a social enterprise mindset. We work closely with SMEs, farmer-based organisations, cooperatives, NGOs, enterprise support organisations, development partners, and investors, often providing flexible, discounted, and pro-bono support for impact-critical initiatives. We have supported 100+ enterprises with investment-ready documentation, mobilised capital for SMEs, and reached 145,000+ lives through enterprise development, youth and women empowerment, health, and community initiatives. ANCHOR is an implementing partner on donor-funded programmes, including agribusiness value chain projects, and plays an active role in enterprise ecosystem strengthening, including facilitating quality improvement initiatives aligned with frameworks such as SCALE.
