About ANCoS APS Confartigianato

The A.N.Co.S. - National Association of Social and Sports Communities was established in 2002 within the Confartigianato system as an autonomous organizational organization without profit. Thanks to the activities carried out since its inception, in 2006 it obtained official recognition as a National Agency for welfare purposes by the Ministry of the Interior and in 2010 the recognition as an Association of Social Promotion. It is good to underline that ANCoS, is one of the subjects admitted to the allocation of five per thousand, used to finance social initiatives at national and international level. In fact, the action of ANCoS aims to raise the quality of life of the individual through the promotion of recreational and recreational activities and initiatives for prevention and awareness, and to promote socialization, of those who live alone, concretely helping those who are in situations of discomfort (the elderly, the disabled, immigrants, disadvantaged groups), supporting the social interaction of the weakest groups within the communities they belong to and promoting the solidarity and social values of voluntary activity. The growth of the ANcos in terms of structure, activity and visibility has allowed the association to become part of important national and international networks: on one hand it has joined the Fictus (ie the Federation which groups the subjects operating in the field of social tourism); on the other, it became part of Fiapam, an international federation that represents more than 4000 associations dedicated to policies for seniors and social inclusion, based in Europe (Spain, Portugal, France and Italy) and in Central America - Southern, with active Secretariats, highly effective international cooperation projects and considerable growth and development prospects.
