About Andreas Wine and Luxury Accommodation

Nestled in the Bovlei Valley in Wellington, South Africa, our wine estate comprises of 4.5 hectares of vineyards, an elegant eighteenth century guest house and luscious gardens. The Cape Dutch house has been renovated into a beautiful luxury guest house with four double en-suite bedrooms, three comfortable lounges and a serene pool area. We are thrilled to announce we have been awarded four stars from the Tourism Grading Council South Africa. The stoep overlooking the vineyards is the idea spot for watching the sunset whilst sipping a glass of our Shiraz. Andreas is the perfect base to explore the Wellington Winelands. Many activities can be found on our doorstep from world class golf, hiking trails and competition-standard mountain bike routes. If you're looking for a more relaxing stay, our house is perfect for yoga, painting and writing retreats. The rooms can be rented individually, but the house really comes into its own when rented out in its entirety, perfect for hosting friends and family. Our premium, award-winning Shiraz is a result of our long, hot summer days, late afternoon breezes, chilly, wet winters and sandy, loamy soils: the perfect terroir for Shiraz. The grapes are hand-picked in the morning, cooled overnight before beginning their fermentation process in the cellar. Eighteen months in oak allows the wine to mature and round off. The result? A full-bodied, smooth wine full of characteristic spice and fruit with excellent ageing potential. In 2015 the estate was acquired by a group of U.K. wine enthusiasts under the banner of Andreas Wine Trading. Their ambition is to build on the wine’s existing heritage, enhance the quality of the wine and take it to an even wider audience, all the while offering first class hospitality to our guests.
