Our strategy has been to focus on second-hand dry bulk vessel acquisitions in the 79,000 dwt to 120,000 dwt size range to take advantage of the attractive asset entry prices and return potential presented by a rational time charter employment strategy, and to build a long-term dry bulk shipping business. We believe the future capital landscape of dry bulk shipping has fundamentally shifted and requires a clean-sheet approach if investors, ship owners, clients and suppliers are to work together to navigate through future shipping cycles.
