About Animal Ark Pty Ltd

At Animal Ark, we’re more than just a small business - we’re a family, and that includes our scaly, feathery, and furry teammates too! Originally founded in the UK and now proudly based in Australia, our team is a close-knit group brought together by a shared passion for wildlife education, conservation and respect for the animals we share our environment with. Specialising in native Australian fauna (including our notorious venomous snakes!) we’ve made it our mission to inform, inspire, and spark curiosity about Australia’s often-misunderstood wildlife. Whether it’s delivering training courses, school visits, or wildlife awareness programs, we bring people and animals together in meaningful, memorable ways. We have established ourselves as a leading wildlife education and training provider in Australia for major corporations, mine sites, shires, and individuals. Education and personal empowerment – it is education and training – but we have some fun too. From specialised training courses, wildlife awareness for staff and students to school incursions and wildlife displays. Our team of experienced trainers offer specialised courses and services to help you understand, appreciate, and safely handle fauna, including venomous snakes. Animal Ark specialises in aversive behavioural conditioning to mitigate wildlife to human conflict. We implement strategies to reduce risk and harm. We pioneered Snake Avoidance Training in Australia and are the only organisation offering Bait Aversion training for dogs based on successful scientific research project methods. We also supply tried and tested tools and PPE for safe handling of wildlife, including venomous snakes, via our online shop. Animal Ark has a wide range of tools for all situations including: snake catching and fauna handling kits, snake catching bags, fauna nets, snake grabber / tongs, hooks, gaiters, and more!
