We believe in using the legal system to create genuine, positive change for animals and the environment around us. That’s why we created Animal Counsel. Through it, we will ensure that the law goes beyond species to protect those who need it. That’s also why Animal Counsel focuses on the variety of animal issues that it does. From statutes with proven success like the Endangered Species Act, to relatively new legal theories like the rights of nature, we hope to keep advancing the interests of animals in Colorado and beyond through law and policy.
