About Another Kind Studio

We are a graphic design studio and creative duo founded in 2015 by Lou Madhu and Patrick Perring. Based at Switchboard Studios in Walthamstow, East London, we operate as Another Kind - a specialist graphic design agency providing both studio commissions and freelance support. We specialise in crafting unique brand identities for businesses across a wide variety of industries including music, fashion, food, lifestyle, hospitality and entertainment. We believe that truly impactful design transcends mere aesthetics. It’s about understanding the unique soul of a brand and translating that into a compelling visual narrative. We approach each project with a bespoke strategy, prioritising client relationships and fostering collaborative partnerships with artists and creatives. Our roots in the music industry provide a deep understanding of brand building and the power of authentic expression. Whether you’re a burgeoning startup or an established player, we’ll work closely with you to develop a visual identity that resonates with your audience and drives meaningful results. At Another Kind Studio, we don’t follow formulas. We explore uncharted territories, challenge conventions, and strive to create design that makes a lasting impact.
