About Antimicrobial Resistance Research Society of India (AMRRSI)

The Antimicrobial Resistance Research Society of India (AMRRSI) is a national collaborative platform dedicated to combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through coordinated scientific research, evidence-based policy, and cross-sectoral partnerships. We unite researchers, clinicians, microbiologists, public health experts, veterinarians, agronomists, environmental scientists, industry leaders, and policymakers across the One Health continuum. Our mission is to strengthen collaborative efforts that address AMR — one of the most pressing health threats of our time. By fostering knowledge exchange, promoting high-quality research, and bridging the gap between science and policy, AMRRSI aims to drive impactful solutions that protect human, animal, and environmental health in India. Established in 2026, AMRRSI serves as a neutral, inclusive forum where stakeholders from diverse sectors can come together to: Advance coordinated scientific enquiry Support evidence-based policy development Promote sustainable cross-sectoral collaboration We believe that only through unified action can we effectively slow down the spread of antimicrobial resistance and safeguard the future of medicine. Join us in building a strong national response to AMR.
