About ANxStudio

ANxStudio is a design practice dedicated to exploring and synergizing architecture and landscape. Founded by Ankit Matolia, an architectural designer specializing in tectonic innovation, and Nitya Varshney, a landscape architect focused on ecological resilience, the studio operates at the intersection of material research, spatial experimentation, and environmental stewardship. With a deep understanding of natural systems, water-sensitive design, and tectonic craftsmanship, ANxStudio approaches design as a process of discovery—challenging conventions, experimenting with materials, and integrating site-specific intelligence to create spaces that are both functionally adaptive and ecologically restorative. Working across urban and rural landscapes, we embrace the complexities of each site to develop culturally rooted, ecologically informed, and future-forward strategies. Whether shaping built environments or regenerating landscapes, we seek to blur the boundaries between nature and the constructed world, fostering deeper connections between people, place, and time.
