About Apadrinhaumaoliveira.org
Our unique non-profit organisation recovers centuries-old olive trees through new technologies to conserve nature and create job opportunities for the long-term unemployed. We reactivate the local economy through the production of olive oil. We are social, sustainable and supportive of our present and future, having created a model of sustainable rural development that has been awarded in Spain in more than 15 leading entrepreneurship awards. Why sponsor an abandoned centenary olive tree? Sponsoring a centenary olive tree means valuing high natural resources while contributing to generating local employment and preventing the threat of fires. In addition, you help these causes and contribute to the production of solidarity extra virgin olive oil.
