About Aquafragma LTD

Aquafragma aims to deliver self-operating barriers for flood protection of the highest quality to its customers. It protects the opening through which flood water may enter your property up to the required height. Aquafragma is a spin-off enterprise of Dion. Toumazis & Associates inspired from the results of the EU FP7 program SMARTeST, Smart Resilience Technology Systems and Tools for Flood Protection. It is a project co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of Innovative Enterprises of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism of the Republic of Cyprus. Aquafragma aspires to raise the standards in the domain of flood protecting barriers by offering cutting edge engineering and technological solutions. The convenience and efficacy of aquafragma can be found within its automatic mechanism. Our product ensures that its function depends only on the hydraulic forces provided by the streaming water during a flood. The floodgate barrier is self-raised in an upright position thanks to the buoyancy action of water, hence eliminating the need for human intervention or power. Apart from being a product of the highest quality in the domain of self-raising flood barriers, it requires minimum to no maintenance. Furthermore it is made up of durable and high-quality materials. We are delighted to provide you with our best services and you are encouraged to ask any questions you like with regards to our product.
