About Argentine Youth Organization for the United Nations

OAJNU is a non-profit Civil Society Organization, non-partisan and pluralistic, created and led by young volunteers committed to building a society that is increasingly inclusive, democratic, and rights-promoting. Our organization was founded on May 5th, 1995, and currently has headquarters in the provinces of Buenos Aires (CABA), Chaco, Córdoba, Corrientes, Mendoza, Santa Fe (Rosario), Salta, and Tucumán. Our objective is to empower peers through our educational projects, promoting civic participation so that our beneficiaries become agents of change in their communities. We have over 600 volunteers, mostly university students, between the ages of 16 and 30. For more information, please visit www.oajnu.org.
