Arma Underwriting is a specialist multi-line underwriting agency delivering solutions to the Middle East & African market. We provide (re)insurance capacity across a broad range of industries and classes including Property, Energy, Terrorism, Casualty, Financial Lines, Jewellers Block and Personal Lines. We focus on providing a high level of engagement with our customers to build enduring relationships. Using pricing analytics and a collaborative underwriting approach, our technical capabilities enable us to develop tailored portfolio solutions for regional insurers, in addition to supporting traditional facultative placements. Our talented underwriters are empowered with local decision making authority, allowing us to be responsive to requests. This enables us to move quickly in setting up new schemes / programmes or products should brokers or cedants require a bespoke approach. Arma’s capacity is provided by ‘A’ rated markets. We are also an approved Lloyd’s of London Coverholder with capacity from a number of leading syndicates. Lloyd’s syndicates enjoy financial strength ratings by Standard & Poor’s of ‘A+’ (strong) & AM Best, ‘A’ (excellent). Arma has offices in London and Dubai (DIFC) and is regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).
