About Armchair & Rocket

It’s all about stories. An armchair is for the favourite book, the radio play, the box set and the bedtime fairy tale. It’s Watch with Mother, Jackanory and Tales of the Unexpected. It’s Rom-com, Sci-Fi and Fright Night. The armchair is a special place for the imagination. But what would the imagination be without a rocket to take it to strange and unexpected places? Rockets are crucial. Flash Gordon had one and look what he accomplished. Without a rocket we limit our horizons – no warp speed, hyperdrive or boom tube - forever shackled by gravity to the humdrum world of reality. So, that’s the name taken care of. What do we do?
