About Arterisk

Arterisk is an applied AI systems and governance initiative focused on how AI technologies behave when deployed in real institutions under regulatory, economic, and human constraints. We work at the intersection of AI deployment, operational risk, and compliance, supporting organizations while documenting where AI systems succeed, fail, or create unintended incentives in practice. Our work is grounded in the hands-on deployment of AI-assisted workflows across regulated and high-friction environments, including small and mid-sized businesses that operate under data protection, safety, and accountability requirements. Rather than treating AI governance as a purely theoretical exercise, Arterisk focuses on field-level insight: how real users interact with AI systems, how accountability is assigned, and where policy assumptions break during implementation. Arterisk brings together deep experience in large-scale technical systems, service management, and compliance-driven operations. Our leadership combines senior cloud and AI architecture expertise with extensive experience coordinating cross-border teams and operating inside regulated institutions. This perspective allows us to bridge technical design with human behavior, organizational incentives, and governance realities, an increasingly critical gap in AI policy and security discussions. Our work is informed by established cybersecurity and data protection frameworks, including GDPR and sector-specific compliance requirements. We treat security and compliance not as checklists, but as living systems shaped by people, workflows, and institutional pressure. Arterisk exists to inform more realistic and implementable AI governance by grounding policy discussions in evidence from real-world deployments.
