We aspire to empower and strengthen our youth by offering them an opportunity to learn, study, and experience the history, movement and beauty of African Diasporic dance, music, and culture at its highest level. Our programs are designed to ensure that our youth understand the roots and value of culture which we hope will inspire and propel them to become strong leaders and model citizens in their communities and in the world at large. Under the umbrella of our Foundation we oversee the Asase Yaa School of the Arts for youth between 3 - 18 years old, a six-week annual Children’s Summer Arts Camp, Arts Outreach Program that provides live entertainment and educational themed programming for 16 public, private, and charter schools (elementary, middle school, and high schools ) throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Queens, a Youth Dance Ensemble, a new Asase Yaa Theater Company comprised of professional non-union BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) professional actors, and the Asase Yaa African American Dance Theater, an Obie Award-winning dance/drum ensemble that has performed across the nation and internationally.
