Ashadeep, a non-governmental organisation which started with as a ‘Day Rehabilitation Centre for Persons with Mental Disorders’ in Guwahati 27 years ago in 1996, has today grown into a major service provider in Mental Health in Assam and Nagaland. Over the years we have developed residential services for the homeless persons with mental illness, day services for persons with intellectual disabilities and also community mental health services for those living with their families covering both rural and urban areas of Lower, Middle and Bodo Territorial regions of Assam.
