Ashra was founded by Mr. R. V. Ramachandran in 1982. There was a real need for an organization which designed, tested and produced filtration products that would enhance engine life during service. Mr. R. V. Ramachandran had set up and managed several companies such as Cummins Diesel Sales and Service, and later was Chairman and Managing Director of Cummins India Ltd. He was a keen entrepreneur and set up and grew many companies. Today, we are led by Ms. Vinita Ram, who has over 25 years of experience in starting and growing businesses.
