About Asia Energy Transition Platform (AETP)

The Asia Energy Transition Platform 1 VCC ("AETP") is a Singapore-based private equity fund launched in 2023 and managed by Progress Asia Capital & Advisors, a Singapore-based asset management firm. AETP invests in next generation renewable energy (RE) projects in Southeast Asia, with an emphasis on commercial and industrial (C&I) applications and the integration of energy storage solutions. AETP targets the “missing middle” of Southeast Asia’s energy transition, focusing on opportunities with a demonstrated and growing pipeline. The fund aims to finance RE developers from an early stage and support their growth, while providing superior risk management to investors through long term alignment of interests. Sustainability is a key focus of AETP. Its primary environmental and social impact goals are reducing CO2 emissions, lowering electricity production costs, increasing access to electricity, and creating new jobs.
