The National Association for the Patients Protection is a non-governmental, private law, non-profit, independent, apolitical, with distinct and indivisible heritage, established by the founding members of the Association will, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance no. 26 of 2000, approved with amendments and completions by Law no. 246 of July 18, 2005. The Association is a legal person, representative, which defends and promotes the rights of patients in Romania, promoting public health programs, health products and services made in Romania and the European Union. Goal: Achieve a real protection of the patient by: - Defending the rights and interests of patients in general but in particular - with its representation in any of the situations where these rights are violated; - Identifying weaknesses in relations patient - physician and patient - health system, referral to competent authorities and, if necessary, subjecting them to public debate; - Providing social assistance and legal assistance regarding patients' rights; - The development of health education; - Participation in public debates on the legislative framework of the health system. Beneficiaries: Patients in general - healthy or sick people who use products and health services, both public and private.
