Aspire Counseling is rooted in the belief that while we are not able to control what challenges life throws at us, we do have the ability to choose how we respond. Megan is an experienced therapist in the Wexford area who specializes in working with parents of children with chronic illness and special medical needs. She provides therapy to mothers who are anxious or who are having difficulty adjusting to their child’s diagnosis, providing coping skills in a compassionate environment that allows them to navigate each day more smoothly and with confidence. Being the parent or caregiver of a child with a chronic illness or special medical need can be stressful. Often times parents can feel anxious, sad, or overwhelmed when trying to juggle life’s usual demands, children who need them, and take care of themselves also. Individual sessions at Aspire Counseling with Megan are warm and inviting, with a proactive and solution-focused approach designed to create measurable progress in each session.
