About Assistance League of Long Beach

Assistance League of Long Beach volunteers transform the lives of children and adults through community programs. Founded in 1940, our auxiliaries (Rick Rackers, Las Hermanas, CAMEO, and Assisteens®) combine with chapter members to create the dynamic “community of volunteers” that is the lifeblood of the organization. We are one of 120 national chapters and are recognized as having the largest number of members (850). We focus on serving children in need in the greater Long Beach region.
