About Association Paris historique

Welcome to Paris Historique, an association created in 1963 whose purpose is to defend and rehabilitate Paris. We offer tours of our house which dates back to the end of the 16th century and was built over a Cistercian gothic cellar from the 13th century. We also sell books about Paris, reproductions of old maps of Paris and run a multimedia library on the 2nd floor. We have a preservation group whose role is to examine building permits in Paris and assess them from a cultural and historical point of view.To make the public aware of our actions, the association conducts guided tours, puts on exhibitions, holds lectures (« café patrimoine ») and rallies.
