About Astral Limited Building Contractors
Astral Ltd is a family-run main contractor based in Sheerness, Kent, with over 35 years of experience delivering high-quality construction projects across Kent and the South East. Founded by Paul Houghton, the business has grown under the leadership of Paul’s son Adam Houghton and son-in-law John Jones. We provide a true conception-to-completion service for residential extensions, refurbishments, new builds, and commercial projects. Our professional team is fully degree-qualified and chartered (CIOB or RICS), while our directly employed site operatives — including carpenters, decorators, and site managers — work alongside trusted specialist subcontractors in M&E, groundworks, and dry lining. This model ensures control, reliability, and exceptional standards from start to finish. We pride ourselves on building strong client relationships and delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
