About Astralis Instrumentation Consortium

As Australia’s leading astronomical instrumentation organisation, we create advanced technologies to explore and understand our universe. Astralis draws on experience, expertise and facilities from three leading universities – Macquarie University (AAO), Australian National University (AITC) and the University of Sydney (through subgroup of the SAIL lab). We provide end-to-end bespoke instrumentation solutions for: - spectrographs and imagers; - optical fibres and photonics technologies; - adaptive optics; - astronomy software; and - technical systems management. Astralis is a consortium between the Macquarie University, Australian National University and University of Sydney’s astronomical instrumentation groups seamlessly working together to provide end-to-end solutions.
