About aTENSION.life

At aTENSION.life, we develop and market innovative and precise diagnostic solutions that enable early and accurate diagnosis as well as targeted - and even personalized - treatment for people with hypertension. Our proprietary ALDO+ technology platform is based on state-of-the-art mass spectrometry and analyzes the Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone System (RAAS) with unparalleled precision from a single blood sample. This allows physicians to accurately identify the causes of treatment-resistant hypertension, without the need for trial-and-error approaches. The first product from this platform, ALDO+PA, is a CE-IVD-certified blood test for the diagnosis of Primary Aldosteronism (PA), one of the most common yet often overlooked causes of treatment-resistant hypertension. ALDO+PA delivers reliable results without requiring patients to stop their current medication and is available in Austria through our partnership with labors.at. With our scalable Prep’n’Ship™ model, we make mass spectrometry-based precision diagnostics accessible to any laboratory - regardless of existing infrastructure. We collaborate with physicians, laboratories, and healthcare institutions to set new standards in hypertension diagnostics and sustainably improve cardiovascular care.
