Supporting the CEO and staff to orchestrate all golf and interclub events and with a committed team of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to support the 21 golf clubs in the district, Auckland Golf is committed to ensuring that golf is seen as the sport of choice for all ages. Auckland Golf Inc. takes pride in its long history of top results in the representative programme, selecting and managing teams for inter-district and national matches, ensuring that every swing, putt, and drive is executed with precision and passion. The Collective position of Auckland Golf is that, by 2030, the clubs in the district will be the New Zealand leaders in: • The provision of courses that are environmentally positive and add value to their surrounding communities. • Using golf as a driver of tourism for the region and by doing so will establish Auckland as a golfing destination, including the hosting of significant tournaments. • The provision of facilities that cater for a wider range of the community – beginner to elite; indoor to outdoor; mini putt to championship. • Catering to the needs of a growing population.
