About Austmann Bryggeri

Austmann bryggeri is a hand craft brewery located at Høvringen in Trondheim. The brewery was founded by Thomas Sjue, Vinko Lien Sindelar and Anders Cooper in 2013. The vision is simple - to produce a tasty and exciting hand craft beer the old fashioned way. From the 900s and onwards, Austmenn (east men) set sail from the Norwegian coast in open boats across uncharted waters. They were willing to take a chance. They dared. They sailed west and settled in the Western Isles. These Austmenn were traders, adventurers and skilled craftsmen. As Austmenn before us, we create a true handcrafted product - and we are not afraid of new adventures or unknown waters. The brewery has since its founding produced over 35 different types of beer and is also present in all of Scandinavia. Austmann bryggeri has experienced troumendous growth in their first years, and are looking forward to new challenges and new adventures that are yet to come. ________________________________________________________________________________ Austmann Bryggeri er et håndverksbryggeri som holder til på Høvringen i Trondheim. Bryggeriet ble startet av gründerne Thomas Sjue, Vinko Lien Sindelar og Anders Cooper i 2013. Visjonen er enkel - å produsere godt og spennende håndverksøl på gammelt vis. På 900-tallet la austmenn ut fra norskekysten i åpne båter over ukjent farvann. De var villige til å ta en sjanse. De seilte vestover og slo seg ned på Vesterhavsøyene. Austmennene var handelsmenn, eventyrere og dyktige håndverkere. Som Austmenn før oss lager vi et ekte håndverksprodukt – og vi er heller ikke redde for nye eventyr eller ukjent farvann.
