About Australian Indigenous Business Services (AIBS)

Australian Indigenous Business Services Pty Ltd (AIBS Pty Ltd) is a flexible, multi-skilled Indigenous company. Our story started in 1988 when our proud Wiradjuri founders observed a gap in the industry when it came to employment and formalised training of Indigenous people and women. Following a decade of experience working in and around Aboriginal and mainstream communities across Australia, AIBS became an incorporated entity in 2004. Over this period, AIBS witnessed policy, priority, and service delivery changes. Through grass root work AIBS identified a common theme of gaps in service delivery to rural and remote communities. AIBS has a solid history in financial modelling and construction project management. AIBS has worked collaboratively and successfully in the community and within the highest levels of government. We are professional and competent in working within the private sector including contracting with tier-one entities. AIBS adapts to the frontline needs of the community and often works collaboratively to problem-solve complex project management matters. AIBS currently works with diverse small to medium enterprises often Indigenous-owned and operated. We also specialise in contracting with publicly listed companies. Our team is well-qualified, experienced, and respected professionals that hold a variety of qualifications, education, and high-level academic achievements across multiple industries. AIBS specialises in the areas of construction, building, geotechnical services, and health infrastructure maintenance.
