2025 sees us proudly celebrating the 40th anniversary of Group CEO, Riaan Botma, acquiring the Auto Investments name and his vision, for what is now the Auto Investments Motor Group brand. Built on trust, transparency, and a customer-first approach, the Group has grown into one of South Africa’s largest independently owned motor groups. Auto Investments Motor Group is a truly unique motor group and a leading entity in the automotive sector. We pride ourselves in the unsurpassed level of expertise and experience, of both the pre-owned and new motor industry, within our Group. With a national footprint of 33 pre-owned and OEM dealerships strategically spread across South Africa, we are confident that as a Motor Group we have established significant influence and an impeccable reputation in the industry. Our longstanding relationships with all the financial institutions underscore our credibility and financial stability, enhancing our ability to offer competitive financing options to our customers and dealer network alike. As part of our continued growth and innovation, Auto Investments Motor Group took a significant step in late 2021 by welcoming our first OEM brand, Chery Motors, into our network. This milestone marked the beginning of an exciting new era, expanding our offerings beyond pre-owned vehicles to include new and dynamic automotive brands. Following the success of Chery, we acquired Omoda, Jaecoo, Jetour, and Foton into our portfolio. Due to the fact that the Chinese brands were aggressively pursuing the South African market it made the barrier to entry for us to be awarded franchises, as a relatively new player in the OEM fold, less onerous. In saying that, these franchises were awarded due to the reputation of our brand and the strength of our leadership in the industry.
