About AWIMSA

The Association of Women in Mining South Africa (AWIMSA) is a national organisation driving the advancement of women across the mining value chain through advocacy, skills development, mentorship, and strategic partnerships. We are committed to ensuring that women are equipped to lead in a mining industry being reshaped by innovation, digital transformation, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Through training, technology access, and community-focused initiatives, AWIMSA is building pathways for women to participate in, influence, and lead the future of mining in South Africa.
