About Ayu in the Wild Luxury Travel Sri Lanka

An owner-managed, women-led boutique Destination Management Company creatively rewriting the nuances of exceptional private luxury travel in Sri Lanka with a positive impact, since 2012. Each trip is meticulously researched and curated through a collaborative process with our global industry partners and customized to meet the interests and requirements of discerning guests. To allow us time to understand, consult and refine both the journey and its impact, we intentionally curate only a few trips each year - including curated trips for the UHNWIs, family vacations, couples’ trips, special interest based small group journeys, anthropology journeys, conservation led donor trips, wildlife expeditions with our own Naturalist guides, holistic wellness retreats, honeymoons, reunions, and multi-gen trips. We curate our own authentic and impactful local experiences hosted by fascinating locals ranging from art and craft to history, wellness, mindfulness, archaeology, fashion, food, jazz, dance, specialized ornithology, general wildlife and birdwatching or guided biodiversity treks. We work with preferred luxury hotels as well as small lodges with a great story to tell - whether that's a second-generation owner, an artisanal product or something local and utterly unique - based on what guests love. Each personalised journey is designed with a climate conscious and social impact lens supporting our impact-initiatives including children's education and science-led conservation. We are Sri Lanka's only Travel Partner of The Long Run.
