About BackingHerVenture e.V.

Women entrepreneurs are on the rise, yet female founders remain underrepresented in innovation-driven deep-tech sectors, and their ventures continue to receive a disproportionately small share of VC funding. BackingHerVenture exists to help close that gap by empowering female leadership and expanding access to the networks and capital women entrepreneurs need to scale and succeed. Founded by experienced executives, operators, investors, and industry experts, we bring together deep sector expertise in healthcare and life sciences with a global network spanning the United States, Europe, and beyond. Through mentorship, professional development, and high-impact connections with experienced operators, investors, and global industry leaders, we support female entrepreneurs in building and scaling transformative ventures—while contributing to a more inclusive and impactful healthcare and life sciences innovation ecosystem.
