About Badger Mats

Proudly Wisconsin-based. Family-owned. Custom-fit since 1947. At Badger Mats, we believe every workspace deserves the perfect fit—literally. For nearly 70 years, we’ve specialized in delivering high-quality, custom-made floor mats designed to enhance safety, comfort, and brand presence. Unlike rental services or off-the-shelf solutions, we create mats your business owns—tailored to your exact specifications, often down to the inch. Our roots trace back to 1947 when Frank Filardo, a small-town superintendent and coach, began selling his homemade window cleaner to local schools. What started in a garage has grown into a trusted name in commercial and industrial floor matting throughout the Midwest—and beyond. We offer one of the most comprehensive selections in the industry, including: ✔ Custom Logo Mats ✔ Anti-Fatigue Matting (including anti-static, kitchen, and bar mats) ✔ Entrance and Oversized Mats ✔ Recessed Well Mats ✔ Safety and Gym Mats ✔ Pool and Locker Room Matting ✔ Fundraiser and Event Mats If you don’t see what you need on our website, just ask—we likely have it or can source it for you. We’ve curated our most popular mats from decades of experience to make your buying process easy, informed, and stress-free. At Badger Mats, you’re not just another order—you’re a relationship. We work with everyone from local mom-and-pop shops to major grocery chains, always with the same commitment to quality, customization, and care. Whether you’re outfitting a corporate lobby, a warehouse floor, or anything in between, we’re here to help you make a lasting impression—one mat at a time.
