About Barefoot Bytes (Pty) Ltd

Barefoot Bytes is where genius meets playfulness — a software company that believes innovation should feel as natural as walking barefoot. Founded in 2021, Barefoot Bytes was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to craft world-class, high-quality mobile and web applications with authenticity, creativity, and joy at the heart of every project. The company’s barefoot signature symbolizes its culture — real, grounded, and unpretentious. It’s a reminder that technology doesn’t need to be rigid to be excellent. At Barefoot Bytes, every line of code reflects a balance between precision and passion, innovation and play, discipline and imagination. Led by three dynamic directors — Franna (CEO), Rudi (COO), and Andon (CFO) — the company has grown into a powerhouse of creative developers, each proudly coding “barefoot.” This spirit of freedom and teamwork fuels a work environment defined by family values, loyalty, and productivity. From developing robust systems for major corporate clients like the South African Medical Association (SAMA) to crafting sleek, scalable solutions for transportation, commercial, and community-based platforms, Barefoot Bytes has earned a reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation. Beyond technology, Barefoot Bytes carries a strong heart for community. The team believes in partnership, empowerment, and building solutions that make dreams possible — one app, one system, one client at a time. At Barefoot Bytes, we don’t just build apps — we build experiences, relationships, and a legacy of innovation that walks confidently into the future, barefoot.
