About Barriertek Inc.

We specialize in fire, and we know wood! Our team of scientists and engineers are experts at stopping fires from starting in wood buildings. We work directly with builders, code officials and fire prevention officers to develop cost-effective fire-retardant coatings and applications that exceed fire code requirements. BarrierTek has been at the forefront of developing fire protectants for wood structures since 2010. Multi-Family solutions address project risk and mitigate the most common causes of construction fire: arson and hot work. Single-family structures built with BarrierTek applications can reduce the devastation of community property—and save lives. Ask us about our virtual experiment series dubbed Science Vs. Fire.
