About Barrow County Schools

The mission of the Barrow County School System is to ensure an exceptional education that leads each student to become a high-achieving and responsible citizen. We use a Barrow BOLD approach, which means we are “Building Our Learning Differently.” Our 2,000 employees serve over 15,200 students through ten elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools, two educational programs, and one career academy serving the high schools.
