About Baseline Consulting Group

BaseLine Consulting Group is a Manufacturing & Engineering consulting firm which was founded in 2015 by its Principal Robert Chanko. Rob’s cross-functional experience in Engineering, Quality and Operations, combined with his educational background has left him uniquely qualified to play an instrumental role in many types of Manufacturing organizations. He has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing him to develop solid relationships with customers, colleagues, superiors, and sub-ordinates alike. He has spent the last 25 years in various management positions, while driving continuous improvement through the effective use of Lean manufacturing tools and processes. His cross functional experience, including time spent managing Quality, Production and Product and Process Engineering departments, has allowed him to establish a consistent history of successful automotive product launches through the effective management of people, budgets, tasks, and timelines. In addition to his consulting activities, Rob has recognized an opportunity exists to train newly promoted front-line supervisors and managers. Management 101 from the BaseLine Institute is a quick but intensive 8 hour, in-person Management Boot Camp designed for your frontline supervisors & managers. Whether your company has 20 employees or 2,000, this course is presented across two, 4-hour workshops to optimize impact and ensure effective discourse while by-passing trendy Ivy League management fads like trust fall exercises, emotional introspection and meditative management. Plain and simple, it’s a transformational leadership training event for new managers and those who need to sharpen the essential skills required to build positive relationships with team members, inspire engagement, and drive productivity. The course is designed for people who are new to managing people, as well as more experienced managers who may need a refresher.
